Hyperthyroidism

Hyperthyroidism is a functional disorder in which the thyroid hormone produced by the gland is poured excessively into the blood. This disorder, which encompasses a whole set of anatomopathological structures of thyroids, can be divided in hyperthyroidism with ocular disorders (Graves-Basedow´s disease), and hyperthyroidism without ocular disorders. Some of
the most important aspects of hyperthyroidism, also called hyperthyroid syndrome, are depicted and described below.
El hipertiroidismo es un trastorno funcional donde la hormona tiroidea que produce la glándula se vierte con exceso en la sangre. Agrupa a todo un conjunto de estructuras anatomopatológicas de la tiroides, que pueden dividirse en: Hipertiroidismo con trastornos oculares: enfermedad de Graves-Basedow, e Hipertiroidismo sin afectación ocular. Seguidamente se ilustran algunos de los aspectos más importantes del también llamado síndrome hipertiroideo.
