It has been proven that babies who are in contact with their mothers immediately after they have been born can be better breast fed when the process is tried for the first time. Furthermore, if babies are left alone on their mothers breasts, they will spontaneously make contact with one of her breasts to start feeding.

Es la alimentación que recibe el recién nacido mediante leche, la que puede ser natural o artificial. En este poster se exhibirán las ventajas de la alimentación materna. Se ha comprobado que aquellos bebés que tienen contacto con la madre apenas nacen, facilita la acción de amamantarlos cuando se hace por primera vez. Es más, en algunos casos, si al bebé se lo deja solo sobre el pecho de la madre, espontáneamente se acerca a la mama para alimentarse.
